Data sources: All indicators are published by the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which aggregates and publishes figures it receives from upstream government institutions.
Definitions: The poverty rate measures the proportion of the population living below a specified level of income needed to meet basic life needs.
Methodology: Year-over-year deltas for ratios are reported in percentage points (p.p.). Deltas for counts are reported as percentage change. Period averages are simple arithmetic means over the trailing period, inclusive of the selected year.

In 2024, the resident population reached 36.80M (+2.15% YoY). The poverty rate declined to 8.90% (−2.10 p.p.). Higher education organizations awarded 211.20K graduations (+14.70% YoY).

In 2024, 19.49M people were under the age of 30, representing 52.97% of the resident population (−0.31 p.p. versus 2023). Within this cohort, 10.06M were male (51.59%) and 9.44M were female (48.41%).

Total enrollment across all education levels was 11.00M students in 2024 (+4.28% YoY). General Secondary accounted for 61.63% of the total.
