In 2024, the resident population reached 36.80M (+2.15% YoY). The poverty rate declined to 8.90% (−2.10 p.p.). Higher education organizations awarded 211.20K graduations (+14.70% YoY).

In 2024, 19.49M people were under the age of 30, representing 52.97% of the resident population (−0.31 p.p. versus 2023). Within this cohort, 10.06M were male (51.59%) and 9.44M were female (48.41%).

Total enrollment across all education levels was 11.00M students in 2024 (+4.28% YoY). General Secondary accounted for 61.63% of the total.
